Accents Publishing, LLC was launched in 2010 by Katerina
Stoykova-Klemer.
Our mission is to promote brilliant voices in an affordable publication format, and to foster an
exchange of literature among different world cultures and languages.

* Katerina writes poetry and prose in both Bulgarian and English. Her poems and stories have
appeared in numerous literary publications in the U.S. and Europe, and her work
has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net Award and AWP Intro Award.
She is the author of the bilingual poetry book
The Air around the Butterfly /
Въздухът около пеперудата, published by Fakel Express, which won the 2010 Pencho’s Oak award, given
annually to recognize literary contribution to contemporary Bulgarian culture. Her English language chapbook
The Most was published by Finishing Line Press in 2010.
Katerina is the founder and organizer of
poetry
and prose workshop groups, which have met regularly in Lexington, Kentucky since February, 2007, and she
also hosts
Accents - a Radio Show for Literature, Art
and Culture, a weekly program on WRFL 88.1 FM, Lexington, 2-3pm every Friday.
Katerina grew up in Bourgas, Bulgaria. In 1995, she immigrated to the United States
and for over a decade, worked as a software engineer in high-tech companies. She holds an MFA in Writing
from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and is the recipient of the 2010 Eileen Egan Graduate
Student Leadership Award. She serves on the advisory board of the Kentucky Women Writers Conference.
